Kim Nash wrote in the WSJ Cybersecurity newsletter: "Avast! Pirates are getting better with cyber weapons on the high seas, WSJ Pro’s James Rundle reports. Maritime freight operators must improve their cybersecurity practices, the Coast Guard warns after an investigation of a February incident in which hackers tried to digitally seize control of a vessel.

Other incidents include malware infiltrations that disrupted charting systems on paperless ships, ransomware infections that spread through networks on ships and at facilities, and the discovery of dormant worms within some power systems that could have allowed access to attackers when activated." When criminal hackers are getting this targeted, are you next on their list? Get your defense-in-depth in place...

I warmly recommend this WSJ Pro newsletter by the way.
