Here are a few important updates to share with you from the month of March.
NEW! YOUR CORONAVIRUS AND WORK FROM HOME RESOURCE CENTER
Did you know that Cybercriminals have ramped-up phishing attacks over 667% in the month of March alone? With cybercriminals in a feeding frenzy, it's super-important to conduct phishing training during this time. Prepare your organization now to defend against Coronavirus scams.
Make sure that your users are prepared. It's better to "fail safe" and direct your users to a learning moment than to have an employee click on a real phishing email and have your entire organization experience a breach.
We have created a short video series designed to help you conduct critical phish testing in a way that feels caring and compassionate. Check out the new Resource Center to access the videos and get the latest phishing and security awareness resources to keep your network secure while your users are working from home. Your complimentary resource center includes:
- A free course: Internet Security When You Work From Home
- A short video series designed to help you conduct critical phish testing
- An on-demand webinar on security for remote employees
- And more!

NEW VERSION: RANSOMWARE SIMULATOR TOOL
The bad guys are continuing to evolve their approach to evading detection and deploying ransomware as evidenced by three of the most prevalent ransomware families - RIPlacer, Jaff and GrandCrab.
That’s why we’ve updated our Ransomware Simulator tool “RanSim” to include three new ransomware scenarios!
These new scenarios simulate ransomware strains that operate much like RIPlacer, Jaff and GrandCrab attacks on the local machine that encrypt users’ files and demands a crypto-ransom in exchange for the keys.
Try KnowBe4’s NEW Ransomware Simulator tool and get a quick look at the effectiveness of your existing network protection against the latest threats. RanSim will simulate 18 ransomware infection scenarios and 1 cryptomining infection scenario to show you if a workstation is vulnerable to infection.
This is complimentary and will take you 5 minutes max. RanSim may give you some insights about your endpoint security you never expected!
