Sticking to our values continues to pay off, as we have recently received a Tech Cares award from TrustRadius. This is a brand-new award crafted to celebrate organizations that have provided next-level support to their stakeholders during the COVID-19 public health crisis.
Beyond the recognition and honor associated with this award, KnowBe4 is mostly happy about the deeper meaning behind it; we are taking care of our people! Health and safety are top priorities at KnowBe4, and we have extended our resources to both our employees and our customer community.
In March, KnowBe4 embarked on a mission to move all 900+ employees to work-from-home conditions in a single day. This was no small task, but completely worth it, as this allowed for the best safety measures possible for our employees. KnowBe4 followed this shift with a U.S. $200 compensation for each employee to help them offset COVID-related costs and to make up for office benefits.
Employees have also been enjoying a channel we created that is entirely dedicated to ‘work from home’ discussions. It has become a fun and interactive sharing platform for our employees to stay connected and maintain a fun, engaging workplace.
With such rapid accommodations to maintain our positive and successful work environment, we have been able to continue with our hiring process virtually. KnowBe4 frequently onboards employees, and they are still able to introduce themselves (virtually) to the whole staff and start their journey with us. Employee growth has been tremendous and we recently surpassed the milestone of hiring our 1000th employee.
Our efforts extend beyond our team, as we created a COVID-19 “Coronavirus Work From Home Resource Center” for businesses to reference and use as a guide in their journey through these unprecedented times. The goal of the resource center is to help put organizations in the best position to properly engage their employees during this time of uncertainty.
We feel appreciative and excited to be recipients of such a community-building, support-focused award that acknowledges our efforts to help others as we all do our best to navigate through our new normal.
