El Pescador – Direito do trabalho no Brasil: Licença-maternidade e licença-paternidade (Labor Law in Brazil: Parental Leave)
Each country has a set of laws and regulations that govern various areas of society, including labor. In Brazil, the Labor Laws Consolidation (or CLT, as it is known in Brazil), defines several benefits, the rights of workers and organizations’ duties. However, in addition to the CLT, there are other hiring formats that operate these benefits in different ways. In this video, employees will learn more about workers' rights in regards to maternity, paternity and adoptive leave under the CLT, statutory (for public servants), and MEI (for individual micro-entrepreneurs) hiring regimes. It also shows how leaves work for both heterosexual and same-sex couples. This course is currently available in Portuguese only.
