The 27th consecutive quarter of hypergrowth has been driven by demand for KnowBe4’s new-school security awareness training, coinciding with a rapidly expanding portfolio of engaging and award-winning training content. We also made several key leadership hires and an executive board appointment, including Karina Mansfield as managing director for Australia, James McQuiggan as security awareness advocate, Mark Patton as senior vice president of engineering and we are thrilled to welcome independent board member Gerhard Watzinger.

The success we’ve seen with our growth shows that there’s a huge need for effective security awareness training,. Organizations are especially looking for the type of new-school training that we offer – it’s interactive, on-demand and engaging. KnowBe4 has an enormous content variety for every type of learner. 2019 was a super successful year for KnowBe4 and we’re looking forward to another record-setting year in 2020.

Other recent and notable milestones and awards for Q4 2019 include:

  • KnowBe4 was honored with two “Best Workplace” awards – one from Glassdoor for one of the best places to work in 2020 and one from FORTUNE for best small and medium workplaces of 2019
  • Launched a new partner program and portal to better enable channel partners
  • Achieved FedRAMP Authorization from the U.S. federal government
  • Launched new features to strengthen organizational security culture with the Security Awareness Proficiency Assessment and Security Culture Survey
  • Released several research initiatives, including the KnowBe4 African Cybersecurity Awareness Report and the KnowBe4 2019 Security Threats and Trends Report
