Last year California passed a new law, similar to GDPR, called the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) of 2018. This law is to be implemented on January 1, 2020. Any company doing business in California will have to comply with these new regulations related to the processing of personal data of California residents, no matter where in the world they are located.

We are happy to announce a new course available in the ModStore now titled California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) by our partners Teach Privacy. This course is available for all of those with the Diamond level subscription level.

This course is created and narrated by Professor Daniel J. Solove who is the leading expert on privacy and data security law in the United States.  Professor Solove is a law professor at George Washington University Law School and he has taught privacy law every year since 2000.
