TrendLabs discovered a malicious MS PowerPoint document that arrives attached to email messages. The file contains an embedded Flash file, which exploits a software bug found in specific versions of Flash Player (CVE-2011-0611) to drop a backdoor onto users systems. So when you receive a powerpoint attachment, make sure you have asked for this, and if you didn't, verify with the sender if they actually sent it. Here is the full blog post:
